পরিচিতি

I believe politics isn't something that happens to people — it's something people build together, from the ground up. Growing up in Bangladesh, I've seen what happens when working people's struggles get pushed to the margins while power consolidates elsewhere: in party politics, in religious networks, in capital. I don't think that's inevitable. I think it's a failure of organizing, and organizing can be rebuilt.
My politics come from debate before they came from theory — years of arguing, listening, and learning that the strongest position is the one that accounts for the people history usually leaves out. Workers. Migrants. Students. The ones doing the labor that keeps everything running while having the least say in how it's run.
I care about class politics that isn't abstract — that shows up in labor rights, in migrant workers' conditions, in who gets to organize and who gets left to survive alone. I care about culture as a site of struggle too, not just parties and elections — the way art, language, and community-building keep progressive politics alive even when formal structures are weak.
I'm not interested in nostalgia-politics or purity tests. I'm interested in what it actually takes to build power for people who don't have it — patiently, structurally, generation after generation.
